Deadly Work (Creepypasta x Death!Reader) Final

     The month had gone by rather quickly. This was going to be the last death you would have to fix, and hopefully all would go back to normal afterwards. At least, that was the plan. You stood in the shadows of a brick building, observing the victim that was supposed to be crushed beneath a piano. Well, that certainly was interesting, wasn’t it?

    Across the street a couple were talking with a few movers, a piano suspended in the air by some hooks and cranes as they lifted it to a window to be put in the apartment. They had set up a perimeter with some caution tape, making sure that people wouldn’t be directly underneath it should the piano fall. It was rather unfortunate, really.

    Next to you stood BEN, who was gazing around anxiously in case someone should see the two of you. As many times as you had reassured him that while he was near you only those destined to die could see him, he still worried just a bit. Though he found himself relaxing when a person matching the description you had given him appeared across the street. They were coming from the right, and had just seen the piano hovering in the air.

    He got into position while you readied your black book, your pencil hovering just above the pages as you waited for BEN to do his part. You watched the ropes and hooks holding the piano up, noticing that some of them were fraying and splitting. Fast. BEN had to do it soon, as the piano was already heavily tilting and looked about ready to fall to the cement at any given moment.

    The male, a person named Jordan Howell, (If that’s your name, change it!) was side stepping around the plastic of the caution tape. He gazed at the scene in curiosity, before he was suddenly pushed. And just at the same time, the straps holding the piano up snapped and it began its descent. Time seemed to go in slow motion as the piano made its way towards its unsuspecting victim, who had just hit the sidewalk underneath the piano.

    In seconds it was over. Blood pooled from underneath the now broken instrument, and all the people who had been there to witness it were froze in shock. And just as quickly as he had been killed, they unfroze and screamed. Desperate workers rushed to lift the pieces of the piano and the various keys and wooden pieces that had been strewn about when it hit the ground. The couple who owned the piano stared in shock at the bloody scene, still not comprehending what had happened.

    BEN appeared next to you, smirking in triumph as he observed the humans rushing back and forth. You snapped your book closed and put it on your belt when you had finished writing, and turned to the elf. He grinned, “That was sick! Did you see the way it crushed him?! His bones snapped like a chip!” A smirk similar to his tugged at your lips. “Yes, I saw it. It certainly was a sight to behold.” His grin widened and he held a hand up, “High five!” You rose an eyebrow at it. When you turned and walked away, he called after, “Hey! Don’t leave me hanging!”

You allowed a small smile to find its way on your face.
